Welcome to one of the new clubs in New York and it's called Healthy lifestyle club.
This club is the best because there are lots of things and so you won't get bored.
Some of the activities you can do here are for example diving in our artificial beach or sunbathing in tha sand.
If you want to real you can go to one of our jacuzzis, to the sauna or our specialists can massage your body with chocolate creams.
You can always do sport in the machines, swim in our swimming-pool or play tennis in the tennis court.
If you hyave an important date we have got a fantastic hairdresser's and some girls who can make-up your face.

The most speacil thing is that sometimes, come very famous people to our club like Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johanson, Brad Pitt, George Cloney and Messi.

We'va got also a very healthy restaurant, so you will have a very healthy lifestyle always.
When people leva our club they feel very happy, very healthy and much more attractive.

I'm not sure about how life will be in the future because I don't know if it will be better or worse than now.
I think that I won't like life in the future because everything will be controled by robots and machines and everything will be colder.

On the one hand, life will be better because with the help of machines we will be able to do lots of things like move easily to other places, etc.

On the other hand, if in our society there are a lot of robots, our relationships with our friends and families will be colder and I won't like it.

Some advantages of development with machines and robots is that they will help us with the housework, mending things, etc.

For the future it's important that we start to recycle now.
We must recycle a lot because now we are polluting a lot the environment and we have to stop it!
If we recycle a lot, the consequences will be good for the earth.
We have to look after the planet and keep on developing because it will be very important for our future.

History:

History of ski started in the XIth century and we know it because there are paintings in the caves in Northern countries.

It became more popular and was improved in the XIXth century in Norway and there people started the ski races.

When people started to know this sport they wanted to practice it but the equipment was worse than now but people have been skiing better since the equipment has been developed.

This populas had been popular in many countries but it has been more popular in northern countries.

Equipment:

When you go skiing you should have good quality skis and boots.

Then, you also should wear thick clothes, gloves and a helmet because it’s dangerous to ski without it.

Language:

Rear entry -> are the simplest and cheapest type of ski boots and are good for beginners.

Slope style -> is a form of freestyle snowboarding.

In this style the skier is free to choose his own route and he has to get over some obstacles.

Ski cross -> it’s a new type of skiing competition and it’s based on the snowboard discipline.

Every competitor skis down the course and does all the jumps and abilities he can and then he classificates himself to the final.

Competitions:

In every country there are lots of competitions in winter and they are for all the ages and levels.

Competitions started a lot of years ago but in the XIXth century in Norway some people organized some competitions.

Favourite competitor:

I haven’t got any favourite competitor but I have found Mathias Zdarsky who died in 1940. He was who organized and invented the shortest and most difficult race of slalom. He was considered an eccentric inventor because nobody knew that he invented the slalom race.

Hi Marta,

I’m writing you from Norway.
The weather here is very cold and it’s snowing every night.
I like staying here so much because the people are very kind and they always want to help you.

The landscape here is amazing!
We’ve been visiting a lot of falls and lakes.

I’ve enjoyed all the trips around the country.

We’ve eaten a lot of salmon and we are fed up with it.

Tonight we are going to stay in an wonderful hotel.
I suppose we will have salmon for dinner like all the other days.
Tomorrow we are going to visit lake of hot water and maybe we’ll swim there.

All the people who have visited these lakes say that they are impressive.
I’m having a very great time here but I want to come back home because I miss my family and friends.

I hope you are well and everything is all right.

I took a test about healthy lifestyle and my score was 69 out of 100.

So how do you get off on the right foot and make the decisions that canlead to a healthier and happier lifestyle? First, educate yourself;find out what your body needs to operate smoothly. The next step is toevaluate how your body is doing. Finally, the most challenging but alsomost satisfying part: you must make real plans to incorporate anynecessary changes. As Margaret Fuller once said, "A house is no homeunless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body."

A survivor's story

Last summer I was in the middle of the sea on my uncle's boat with my family.
My cousin and I were sunbathing, my mother and my sister were speaking with my aunt and my uncle and my father were fishing.
It was a beautiful day and it was sunny but suddenly clouds appeared in the sky.
When we saw the clouds, suddenly the wind started to blow suddenly and we get into the cabin.
Wa saw a very big wave and it was coming closer to the boat.
I was very frightened becayse there wasn't anybody near us and I thought we couldn't survive.
We stayed many hours into the cabin and we didn¡t know what to do.
We couldn't phone anybody and we were trapped.
Afterwars I was O.K. and everything went back to normality but I still was very frightened.

In my picture the colours are brown and yellow.

I paint it brown because I like to have always people around me and yellow because I like to be happy.

The first photo is from a trip which we do with the school. In this foto we’re crossing the river very carefully. I like go on trips with my friends!

There are also three photos that you can see my friends.

This photos are from when we go out to festivities of our village or festivities of villages around our. There are also of when we go to have dinner ions a restaurant, when we go out in the afternoons or when we go to Girona and meet our friends of there or of other villages like Amer and La Cellera.

There’s a photo of me too and one with my little Chinese cousin, Jinling.

She’s small but I love her so much because she always wants to play with me and she’s always smiling and it’s very cheerful!

The last photo is from New York because I hope to travel there someday.

Travel to New York is one of my best wishes.

I want to put photos of my family because they are very important for me but I haven’t got it.

I also want to put photos of some of my best friends but I can’t find it.

I put this photo because I love skiing! Last weekend I went to a small village called Val Thorens in the French Alps and I went there with all my family. We stayed in two appartments near the ski resort.
It was fantastic and I hope I can ski again this year.
